Requirements for Running the L.A. Marathon:
1. You must attend practice at least 3 times a week. If you fall short
of 3 practices you will receive a warning. The second time you will be removed from the race roster.
2. You must run in (or attend if
injured) all but one of the above races.
3. You can’t miss the 18 mile Hansen Dam. If you do, and it is the only race you have
missed you must make it up on the
track : 75 laps.
4. Your behavior must be a credit to Banning. If your behavior becomes
a major distraction you will be warned (probably more than once) and then removed.
The following offenses can result
in automatic removal :
Cheating on the race course or at practice
Possession of drugs, alcohol or weapons
Not using the crosswalks
