Instructions:

1.   You  will choose 15 important events that happened between the years 1870-1914.

2.   You will use Chapters 6, 7, and 8 in your text book to find your events.  You must choose at least 4 events from each chapter.  The rest of the events can be found from the internet. 

3.   You will place all of your events in chronological order and place them on a timeline.

4.   You will choose 5 events to illustrate on the timeline.

5.   You will choose 4 events from your timeline to research and summarize.  You will write the summaries on the timeline.

-      summaries should explain who, what, when, where and why was it important

6.   The timeline must look like a “bridge”, and can show how things changed during this time

      period.   Use color!  Make it look nice!

7.   Your summaries need to be typed, using proper spelling and grammar.
