Book for 1920s and 1930s
Instructions:
You are to create a book that shows a good representation of the 1920s and 1930s. Chapters
12-15 can help with the research.
You must find a word, statement, person, or idea that starts
with each letter of the alphabet.
Your book should
be set up as follows:
Cover: Your cover should have a title that represents the time period.
It should, also, have two pictures: one representing the 20s and one representing the 30s.
Inside Front Cover: Write
the California State Standards 11. 5: Students analyze the major political, social, economic, technological, and cultural
developments of the 1920s and 11.6 Students analyze the different explanations for the Great Depression and how the New Deal
fundamentally changed the role of the federal government.
26 Words: For each word you must: 1. Describe or define the term, phrase, or person, 2. Explain why
it was important during the 20s, 30s, or both, 3. Why is it important today?, 4.A picture that represents the word. Pictures
can be printed or drawn.
Inside Back Cover: Write a summary of the time period. Explain the overall impact of the time period and how
it has affected us today.
