Girls Tennis vs Washington 10-9-2007

Re-cap of 10/9 Match vs. Washington
Congratulations to the Girls Tennis Team for a dominating 7-0 victory over Washington on Tuesday. Not only did the Pilots take all 7 matches, but they also outscored the Generals 48 games to only 5.
Included in the commanding performance were four individual 8-0 shutouts, including #2 Singles Cinthya Monroy, and all 3 Doubles teams, Veronica Trujillo & Adriana Garcia, Melissa Hernandez & Norma Santamaria as well as Diana Alvarado & Jasmin Jimenez. As a matter of fact, #2 doubles Hernandez & Santamaria did not even give up a single point during their match.
Cristina Alvarado & Kathy Ngo continued to build their experience and confidence as singles players with their own convincing wins, which will undoubtedly help the team in the 2^nd half of the season.
