Students were asked to write a response to the question "What does the Constitution mean to you?". These were some of the more interesting responses that were read on the mornng announcements.
 

1. aAAlexis Martinez said “It’s a piece of paper that gave us our rights!”

 

 

Darlene Miranda replied “The Constitution allows me to be me, to say what I want and dress how I want, the Constitution is freedom to me”

 

Jesus Martinez wrote “ The Constitution allows me to buy Video Games and much more”

 

Gerardo Castillo stated “If we didn’t have the Constitution the government could do what they want with us”

 

Darlyn Cruz said “The Constitution is the back bone of our country. It means life is fair for all people”

 

Tatiyana Bell says “It helped us not be like the British and it created our structure”

 

Ulises Gonzalez proclaimed “The Constitution is very important to me. It allows me to pursue my happiness”

 

Angelica Sanchez said “ If we didn’t have the constitution a lot of our stuff would get taken”

 

Thank you to all the students that submitted answers to this question. We celebrate the constitution today but it should be celebrated each and every day. Let freedom ring!
