While in the 7th grade I was talking to a friend of mine (Mike Baggio aka Little Bags) and he told me about a program
called Doctor Who. At the same time the guy across the street was telling me about it at well. It was a British TV show and
it was on Sunday night at 11 pm. The guy across the street had a VCR (he was the first person I knew that had one - they were
like $1000.00). He taped the episodes. He invited me over to watch the episode - "The Seeds of Doom." I have been hooked ever
since.

High School - A lot of stuff happened. I will not talk about all of it. I
started a fan club for myself - The Joe Mendoza Fan Club of America and about 200 people joined, some as far as Finland. I
was on the Cross Country and Track Team. I did a lot of stunts but I will not mention them because I fear the students that
read them may use them against me. I graduated in 1987. I also had a band - SNRG.
I was the singer. I spend every weekend at the Cabaret Metro in Chicago on
Clark (across the street from Wrigley Field) going to hardcore/punk shows. This was a lot of fun.
