How do I figure out my grade point average (GPA)? It is easy.
Write down the grade you have in each of your classes.
example: C
D
F
A
B
F
now turn each grade into a number
example: C =2
D =1
F = 0
A = 4
B = 3
F = 0
add them = 10
if it isn't 12 you do not have a 2.0. If you have 6 classes you need the points to add up to 12. If you
have 5 classes you need the points to add up to 10.
To actually figure out your GPA take the number (10) and divide it by 6 (or 5 if you have 5 classes)
10 divided by 6 = 1.67
In this situation you would need to lift 2 of the grades one letter or one of the grades 2 letters.
