Homecoming 2007

It was an evening of mixed emotion. Since our stadium is under construction, homecoming took place at Gardena High School. The first order of business was the retirement of jersey number 80. This was done in honor of David Toomalatai. David was killed in Iraq while on duty. His family was present, including his young son.

The national anthem was played and the game was underway. Click below for the pre-game video.

The Pilots march past the Washington Generals 28 - 7. (stats below). At halftime we learned who were the Homecoming King and Queen. We saw Ms. FInley twirl fire! We saw the cheerleaders (old and new) and Mighty Marching Pilots doing their thing. It was a great night and the Pilots are undefeated at 6 - 0.
