Pilots Reverse 2 Losses from Earlier in the Season, Still Fall to the Gauchos...

Congratulations t the Boys Tennis Team for a tremendous effort in Wednesday’s re-match vs. Narbonne.  In doubles, Michael Gonzalez & JoseAngel Sotelo once again were victorious, although they required an inspirational comeback to do so after dropping the 1st set.  In singles, revenge was the story. During the season’s 1st matchup vs. the Gauchos, Chris Leon & Jorge Zavala only managed to win a total of 7 games combined in 2 blowout losses.  This time, however, Zavala won in straight sets, while Leon dominated the 3rd after splitting the 1st 2 sets, while Julian Frausto once again captured the 1st set before falling in 3. In JV/Exhibition play Hugo DeLaCruz & Daniel Gudino pulled out a close 8-6 win.  Good job Pilots & good luck as the team looks to get back on track vs. San Pedro on Friday!
